David C. Compton, D.D.S.
Dr. David Compton graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1993. Dr. Compton grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana and is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology. Following dental school, Dr. Compton practiced in Munster, Indiana for three years. In 1997 Dr Compton and his wife Valerie moved to Ellettsville to practice with Dr. Kapczynski and Dr. Stipp at the Ellettsville Dental Center.
Much of Dr. Compton's time is spent with his two young sons, Matthew and Drew, and daughter, Lauren.
Thomas H. Kapczynski, D.D.S.
Dr. Kapczynski better known as "Dr. Kap" graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1978. He returned to Monroe County where he had previously earned a Bachelors Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Parks and Recreation Administration at I.U. Before beginning dental school, he worked as Director of Recreation for the City of Bloomington and Monroe County for four years.
Dr. Kap's first office was at 408 West Association Street. The practice quickly outgrew its space, and a new office was built in 1988 at its current location on Highway 46.
Dr. Kap served in the U.S. army from 1967 to 1970 during the Viet Nam war (serving 13 months in South Korea). He continued in the Army National Guard for 25 years. Dr. Kap tries to go on two or three mission trips a year. These humanitarian trips allow him to use his dental skills to serve people with little or no access to dental care. He has worked in Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras.
If he isn't on a mission trip, Dr. Kap enjoys vacationing in Ely, Minnesota, canoeing, fishing, and snowmobiling. Dr. Kap is married to Jeana and has two children Heidi and Eric, and a granddaughter Kayla.
Todd E. Stipp, D.D.S.
Dr. Todd Stipp graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1988 and from Indiana University in 1984 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biochemistry. Following dental school, Dr. Stipp started a dental practice in Worthington, Indiana and met Dr Kap by a chance meeting in the fall of 1988. Dr. Stipp became an associate with Dr. Kap. In 1990 and has been here on a part time basis ever since.
Dr. Stipp enjoys going on mission trips with Dr. Kap when possible and has been able to serve people in Mexico and Guatemala. Dr. Stipp married Donna in 2000. Donna has two teenage children, Daniel and Amber. When not working Dr. Stipp and Donna enjoy traveling, especially by motorcycle, around the country.
Steven W. Bollinger, D.D.S.
Dr. Bollinger grew up in Indianapolis. He attended Lawrence Central High School, graduating in 2002. During his high school years he played soccer, volleyball, and was a member of the band. After high school he attended Wabash College, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Chemistry. Dr. Bollinger attended dental school at Indiana University School of Dentistry where he earned his D.D.S. degree.
Dr. Bollinger and his fiancée, Nicole, were engaged in December of 2010. He is a major sports fan and his favorite teams include the Indianapolis Colts and the IU Hoosiers. He enjoys camping with his family and traveling to new places.
